<div><font face="Arial" size="2">I was finally able to solve that annoying encoding
problem by getting all the data into the PostGIS database and selecting the
appropriate client encoding - it works like a charm! :) Maybe this solution will
help someone else.</font></div>

<div><font face="Arial" size="2">But I have another problem now: When I am
trying to print the layer, which has the CONNECTIONTYPE POSTGIS instead of
CONNECTIONTYPE OGR, I get an error: Fatal error: Call to a member function
saveImage() on a non-object in /userdir/web/php/print.php on line 255. When I
hide that layer and print that view, it works like it should. </font></div>
