lead to a significant slowdown of the interface. A better option would be to set up a Mapfile that can access each of these data layers and use that for the lookup process you want to put in place, this would get the lookup to a single calling structure which
is how GeoMoose works by default. Yes, agree that this is not the best approach configuration wise, but should be thought of as a performance tweak more than anything.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] problem with Identify on Groups

I have a few map layers which I want to turn on/off by using the Group parameter in the map file. In Mapbook.xml I can use the Group name and all the layers in the group turn on and off without problems. The problem is, when I want to
Identify layers in the group, Identify doesn’t work (the error file says “query returned no results”). If I use the layer name of just one layer, the Identify will work, so there’s nothing wrong with the layer definition. But Identify doesn’t seem to pay
attention to Groups. Is there a way I can get this to work?
