<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">I came up with a workaround, not great but works, I combined several layers into one (I used ArcGIS Union command). If the data contains both poly and line,
buffer the line layer by a small amount, a couple of meters, then union that. This unioned layer can serve as your query layer.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">Like I said, not a great solution but simulates querying a group. You can even have it invisible and have your original layers displayed instead.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
