You might want to set it tighter than that. <br>
<br>
Example:<br>
<br>
<span style="font-family:monospace"><span
style="color:#000000;background-color:#ffffff;">MS_MAP_PATTERN
"^/srv/gm3-demo-data/"</span><br>
</span><br>
so that it doesn't allow just any file on the server.<br>

perhaps I've found the issue setting my mapserver.conf file like:
CONFIG
ENV
MS_MAP_PATTERN "."

Hi all,
I'm trying to configure GeoMoose 3.13 in a fresh Debian 12 (Stable "bookworm").
This Debian version comes with Mapserver 8 wich has some changes in configuration respect the previous versions: mapserver.conf, some keys in map file, and so on (see <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://mapserver.org/MIGRATION_GUIDE.html#mapserver-7-6-to-8-0-migration">https://mapserver.org/MIGRATION_GUIDE.html#mapserver-7-6-to-8-0-migration</a>)
After that and following the instruction in
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://docs.geomoose.org/3.x/quickstarts/ec2.html">https://docs.geomoose.org/3.x/quickstarts/ec2.html</a>
I can see the demo environment in my server with only background maps (i.e. "OpenStreetMap"), "USNG Grid", "AGS Dakota Country Rail", "Weather radar" and "AGS Dakota County Runways"; none of the local vector layers (pipelines, parcels,..) are visible.
I presume the problem is the interaction with mapserver/mapfile but I don't understand where to look to investigate. Apache log shows nothing.
Has anyone had any experience with Mapserver 8?
Thanks to anyone who has a suggestion
flavio
