As much as I love going to Italy I think we should try to meet in our side of the world more regularly.

Last time we tried to have two locations at the same time, one in DC and one in Venice with limited success. DC is great for 1-2 day meetings but not so good for a focused code sprint. What if we do New Orleans or San Diego in the US and Turin in Italy?
We would have to rally the core devs in the US to get critical mass but I think we can make it.
