[GeoNode-devel] Refactoring APIs from tastypie to Django Rest Framework

Dear geonode devs,

I was reading some time ago about the idea of replacing tastypie with Django Rest Framework.
Is the proposal still alive? Anyone involved? Any idea about the timing?
