 GeoNode and GeoServer know each other). And since the layers are served/visualized through GeoServer I expected to find the default styles from GeoServer as an option to choose from when I add a layer to GeoNode. So that means that I need to copy and paste

<p class="MsoNormal">geoserver is part of the geonode installation because is customised to respect the geonode permissions. The way they work together is that geonode uses geoserver to publish spatial data in OGC formats.<o:p></o:p></p>

 but after the installation it seems that GeoServer and GeoNode are completely disconnected from each other.
