<div style="font-family:ArialMT">with the lastest update [1] of translations a discussion at Gitter started whether the use of Transifex still makes sense.</div>

<div style="font-family:ArialMT">The current situation is that Transifex has little or no maintenance. Furthermore, many translations are out of sync with Github.</div>
<div style="font-family:ArialMT">It may well happen that somebody invests time working on an outdated translation at Transifex but overwrites a newer po file at GitHub.</div>
<div style="font-family:ArialMT"><br></div>
<div style="font-family:ArialMT">At Gitter, we agreed that translations will be easier to maintain by just editing a language file locally and then creating a PR.</div>
