[GeoNode-users] Remote Service (WMS) from MapProxy instance

Hi,

I have a problem of adding a remote WMS served by MapProxy 1.8.1. The
WMS works like a charm in QGIS or ArcGIS, but importing into GeoNode is
a problem.

This is the WMS:
http://geonode.crc806db.uni-koeln.de:8081/IQuaME2500/service?REQUEST=GetCapabilities

(It actually runs on the same server as the GeoNode instance. Only Port
8081 is open outside of our subnet.)

I can add the Service to GeoNode, the Metadata is read in correctly, but
the service data is not shown in GeoNode, also no thumbnail is created.

I see similar problems on demo.geonode.org regarding remote services. Is
this a general problem?

Regards,
Christian
