[GeoNode-users] public access layers on geoserver (independent from geonode)

Hi Paolo

I thank you for the reply, I was aware of what you indicated (probably is
what I will do at the end)  my idea was more for a possible geoserver
configuration that exclude some layers from the geonode auth control

GeoNode UI, and it will be part of the GetCapabilities document.
Private authorized layers will be accessible only after authenticating
in GeoNode.
You don't need to touch the GeoServer configuration but just use the
GeoNode permission widget, available on layer details pages.
