[GeoNode-users] Geoserver Authentification

Dear All,
I am still having trouble with this issue. However I could already
narrow down the issue.
Somehow the authentication only works for:

http://172.17.0.1/geoserver/web

As soon as I try to access the REST API e.g.
http://172.17.0.1/geoserver/rest
I get the 403 Error.

Any ideas?
