[GeoNode-users] How to navigate to the extents of a Layer in GeoExplorer UI?

Hmmm, I can see the layer tree in the Map composer
and there right-clicking works as you say,  but what
about the Layer view? It has no layer tree and I don't
see how to add one. Can it be done via the mysterious
"portalConfig"?
