[GeoNode-users] Geonode and latest Geoserver

In general geoserver has an ecosystem of pluggable modules which are released publicly for stable versions or can be built on our own. Geonode relies on a snapshot version of geoserver regardless of its version so basically you should achieve that by compiling the vector tile module from the geoserver source code. Just make sure to check-out the branch corresponding to the current version deployed with geonode.

Please also note that vector tiles are not yet supported by the web mapping component within geonode.

Hope this helps

Regards
Francesco
