<pre>I have made a Python script based on PIL and the aggDraw libraries which can
be used for printing/exporting the map as an image. An example can be seen

<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://xyz.malmo.se/stadsatlas/index_skarp_sma.htm">http://xyz.malmo.se/stadsatlas/index_skarp_sma.htm</a> . We use the same script
for exporting to pdf/png/jpg (etc) also. The client-side code is built upon
the example given here: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/wiki/Printing">http://trac.osgeo.org/openlayers/wiki/Printing</a> .
The script works so far only with TileCache, WMS and OpenLayers.Layer.Vector
layers. If anyone is interested and wants to develop it further, let me
know.
