Hi!

Sorry, but I haven't had the time to answer earlier.

I have tried debugger on the examples but it doesn't start because there is
no real executable.

If I start the script, I'm getting:

bash-2.03$ /home/neumancn/nexus/src/gdb-5.3/gdb/gdb SimpleWKTTester
GNU gdb 5.3

This GDB was configured as
"sparc-sun-solaris2.8"..."/home/neumancn/nexus/src/ge
os/source/test/SimpleWKTTester": not in executable format: File format not
recog
nized
(gdb) run
Starting program:
No executable file specified.
Use the "file" or "exec-file" command.

If I try the objectfile, the result is:

bash-2.03$ /home/neumancn/nexus/src/gdb-5.3/gdb/gdb SimpleWKTTester.o
GNU gdb 5.3

(gdb) run
Starting program:
/home/neumancn/nexus/src/geos/source/test/SimpleWKTTester.o
Warning:
Cannot insert breakpoint -1.
Error accessing memory address 0xe0: I/O error.
The same program may be running in another process.

So what command should I try?

Carsten
