[geos-devel] About LineSegment and its shifting

Hi, all

I have one LineSegment. And I want to get another LineSegment with points, that calculates with next algorithm.
I create two perpendiculars to my LineString in its end points. Both perpendiculars have same and fixed length. 
Resulting LineString have coordinates given by this algorithm.
 
Are there in GEOS any abilities to create this LineString?
