Paul, Regina

Sorry, I am a Windows person, and have few knowledge of *nix and Mac environment.
So please check Regina's modified patch. Thanks Regina.

On another note, I am a developer of GEOS COM Wrapper(http://sourceforge.jp/projects/geos-com/) project.
Currently, the geos-com api interface is flat, and sample is VB6 only,
but in the future, I want to apply swig-com(http://code.google.com/soc/2008/swig/appinfo.html?csaid=39B8865043331AF) based api,
and add browser sample(use IE + OpenLayers, and has "JTS Test Builder"-like user interface).
Please look forward to it!

Regards,

2008/10/25 Obe, Regina <robe.dnd@cityofboston.gov>
Can you try applying this revised attached patch. I ran into the same
issues you described when trying to apply the tortoise generated patch
to my OpenSUSE VM install.

I used the original patch he sent since didn't want to fuss with
updating trunk and I really don't want geos 3.0 having stuff that trunk
doesn't have.

As a workaround I
1) checked out geos 3.0 on both OpenSUSE VM and windows
2) patched my windows using tortoise svn with Sanak's patch
3) uploaded changed files to OpenSuse VM
4) Did a svn diff on my OpenSUSE to generate this new patch

5) To test I wiped out my msvc8 on windows did svn checkout and applied
the patch I created in OpenSuse and then did a build in VS8 to make
sure it worked.

6) Also did the same thing in OpenSuse

I'm sure there is a more elegant way to do this, but that's the best I
could do with my limited skill set :(.
I tried the earlier one and that didn't work either. I'm suspecting my
OS/X patch is (a) first stripping the CRs from the dos-generated patch
and then (b) not finding any matches in the dos-formatted target file.
I think someone else with a cygwin sandbox should apply this patch.
