<p>There is a quick report on work in progress:</p>

<p>We hope to have an Apache SIS 0.4 release candidate before
the end of this month. This release will contain the basic
referencing classes from Geotk, except <tt>ProjectedCRS</tt>
and all projection code which are deferred to a later SIS
release. One difference between the SIS classes and the Geotk
ones is that SIS implements the ISO 19162 draft (Well Known
Text 2). SIS also has better GML support.<br>

<p>Merging of geotk and geotk-pending is under way. The default
branch on geotoolkit-pending has been closed. Consequently the
<a href="http://hg.geotoolkit.org/geotoolkit/">http://hg.geotoolkit.org/geotoolkit/</a>
repository now contain everything.</p>

<li>
<p>All <tt>org.geotoolkit.pending</tt> Maven <tt>groupId</tt>
are replaced by <tt>org.geotoolkit</tt>. This replacement is
not yet effective on the project Maven repository, but should
be by the end of this week.<br>

<p>Merging of some modules are under way. The intend is to
reduce the very large number of modules.</p>
