r.surf.idw crashing

Hello,

I have a routine that calls on the r.surf.idw program. It works 99.9 per cent
of the time, but occassionally crashes out with a segmentation error.

I've been using npoints=6, and the region is 2100 cells by 2100 rows.

(A suspicion is that there might be a division by zero?)

Has anyone come accross this before, and know of a cure??

I'm using grass version 4.1.5 compiled from source code, on a Sun Sparc Ultra,
running Solaris 2.5.

I know that grass version 4.2.1 is now available, has one of the bug fixes been
to solve this problem with r.surf.idw??
