[GRASS5] Report for IPC on IRIX

Here is a very brief report of IPC usage on IRIX. First, it works
although I didn't notice any speed differences. Second, the monitor does
not redraw if another window covers it and then reveals it. This problem
does not exist with the fifo version.

Not very extensive testing (no time) but I thought I'd report it anyway.
