Is there any particular reason why r.in.gdal loads libgdal dynamically, rather than just being linked to it? Assuming that there is a reason for doing it this way, I was planning on re-writing gdalbridge.c so that it only opens the library once, rather than once per symbol. -- Glynn Clements <glynn.clements at virgin.net>
