[GRASS5] grass5.0 and 5.1 merge question

No there is not - we have nviz in 5.1 that supports 3D vectors and then we have

It appears to me that merging grass5.1 and grass5.0 should
be a no. 1 priority right now before more work is done on each separately.
(e.g. if I want to do some enhancements to RST should I do it to s.surf.rst5.0 or
I understand, that Radim does not want the merge before he has more of the vector
but while the GRASS5.0 is being cleaned up, he may as well have enough done on
the vector side.
The milestones are set at http://grass.itc.it/grass51/index.html - maybe they
should be revised
and updated (I think there are few items even in phase 2 that are already done).
Glynn, Bernhard, do you have any advice on how to proceed with this?
It was already discussed but it ended up with no clear solution.
just a good advice on how and where to develop new capabilities in terms of
grass5.1 and grass5.0exp
would be helpful,
