[GRASS5] smoothing the DEM

hi all!
we create a dem from a sites file have x, y and spot heights using
s.surf.rest ( or s.surf.idw).
but the dem thus obtained has bumps at the points where the heights are
originally known.
is there any way to smooth the dem thus obtained or any other way to
create a dem from a sites file?

further, what is delaunay's triangulatuion, and is it useful to me since i
want a contour map from my sites file.
