[GRASS5] [bug #2458] (grass) PNG driver installtion

Subject: PNG driver installtion

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries

1-I am using Red Hat linux 9.0 .
2-I downloaded the png driver and proceeded as:
GRASS:~ > cd /usr/grass5
GRASS:/usr/grass5 > mv driver/PNG driver/PNG.8bit
mv: can't stat source driver/PNG
GRASS:/usr/grass5 >
How to install it ?
WEATHER GD libary necesssary as i am using 5.0.3
