[GRASS5] gcc 3.4.1 fails with 5.4

Guys

Can you tell if it is a bug or my fault?

Building Grass 5.4.0 with gcc 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux 10.1 3.4.1-4mdk) gave a
following error:

There were no errors of any kind in config.log prior to it. Building
grass53_exp_2004_11_20 ended up with a similar error output (though I can't
remember if exactly the same). Similar errors on Fedora Core 3 for Grass
5.4 - propably with a new gcc too.

It took me few hours rebuilding with different settings before I tried
switching back to gcc 3.3.4 and then it went perfect for any Grass.

However, grass-6.0.cvs_src_snapshot__2005_01_15 builds perfect with both gcc
3.4.1 and 3.3.4.
