[GRASS5] problem with v.vol.rst

Hello List,
I've been routed from the general Grass list to here with my problem.
I have a problem with v.vol.rst module:
If I set the tension parameter to high value (over 40) then after I make 
slices from the volume, the resulted 2d raster maps will contain squares.
The author of the r3.to.rast module says that it could be a problem of the 
interpolation module. In the attached jpeg you can see what I mean under 
"squared".
