[GRASS-dev] some insprieing presentations

Dear developers of Grass,
this is getting off the detailed coding work.

I recently listened to a German podcast "Choas Radio Express". They 
cover different topics of FOSS, computer security and information science.

One podcast presented one of the lead maintainers of The Gimp [see 
below]. He tells why Gimp is trying to change their release to a shorter 
release cycle, what Gimp has gained through their inclusion of usability 
experts in the development process and gives and overview on the project.
I think GRASS has some things in common with Gimp:
* a monopolist competitor
* the accusation for lacking usability and straight workflows (I am not 
talking of power GRASS users, instead of casual or day-to-day GIS users)
* a long standing history in developing a FOSS programm considered as 
the killer application in the respective field of use.

So, if you understand German and have 1 1/2 h on a train, etc. give it a 
try.
