Greetings Helmut,

This issue is similar but does not seem related, though it may be due
to the same underlying cause.

This is not a problem in specifying fields or the database. Rather the
error in v.rast.stats is that it cannot run v.db.addcol because the
file does not exist. However, v.db.addcol DOES exist and can be run
from either the console command line or the menus. There is something
in the script v.rast.stats that causes an error in windows when it
tries to run v.db.addcol.

I should note that this is under Vista.

We are having many problems still in running GRASS 6.4rc3 under Vista.

Michael
