Somehow I was mistaken. My MacBook DOES have /Library/Python on it.

It does have wxredirect.pth which ONLY has a path to my current  
wxpython 2.8.10.1.

/Library/Python/2.5/site-packages also has folders for numpy and  
pyopenGL.
