[GRASS-dev] compile grass on osgeo4w with debug informations

Hi. It's a long time since I built GRASS on Windows by myself, so forgive
my dummy questions...

I would like to build grass on windows with debug infos, to debug a couple
of things (inside the core and a plugin).I suppose I should use the -g
flag, but I cannot do it from ./configure CFLAGS="-g", because it complains:

configure: warning: CFLAGS=-g: invalid host type
configure: warning: CPPFLAGS=-g: invalid host type
configure: error: can only configure for one host and one target at a time

What's the best place to declare it? I have little experience with
Autotools...
