#2076: 3D polygons distorted in NVIZ
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
 Reporter:  richardc  |       Owner:  grass-dev@…
     Type:  defect    |      Status:  new
 Priority:  normal    |   Milestone:  7.0.0
Component:  wxGUI     |     Version:  svn-trunk
 Keywords:  NVIZ      |    Platform:  Linux

----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
 After converting 2D to 3D polygons using v.to.3d the resulting polygons
 appear distorted when viewed in NVIZ 3D View.

 E.g.,

 v.to.3d --overwrite input=w001001urban2_rtv_split at PERMANENT
 output=w001001urban2_rtv_split_3d height=0

 An example of a displayed image can be seen at: http://osgeo-
 org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Filling-2D-polygons-in-NVIZ-td5076683.html#a5077179

 I've also tried using v.split to see if that helps, but there is no
 difference.

 3D polygons created with v.drape look similar.
