How is using Jpeg2000 for web apps? I know I need a browser plugin, but that’s not a problem, How well does it work for a large map area... <BR>

Say I want to do something similar to google maps and have an image that I can zoom in on and move around in by dragging it with my hand? What’s the popularity of using Jpeg2k? Are there pros & cons?<BR>
