It uses information from a labels file (created with v.label) to make this text. Because it creates TclTk text objects, it ignores v.label highlighting, background, and rotation options.<BR>

Also, like the postscript text layer (renamed to clarify this), these labels can display on the screen or be output to a postscript device (eps, pdf, or printer). But they will not appear in raster ppm, jpeg, tif, or bmp output.<BR>

I’ve also updated GIS Manager to conform with the new options database specifications, developed by Cedrick Shock. This will make formatting consistent across the entire gui and make it easy to change formatting across the entire gui.<BR>
