i am going to develop a tool to simulate patterns. the scope is as follows, the user should be able to access the system through a web interface and upload a gis spatial dataset (shapefile) with weather data of each location(ex-temperature data for 10years). the system should process data.the system should interpolate point data through area and should produce an animation which shows how the temperature has changes with time.it should produce an animation as shown in this map http://www.udel.edu/FREC/spatlab/anim/veg.anim.gif as either a flash file or mpeg file etc. my problem is whether i can use wingrass to develop such a system in GRASS. does wingrass has enough functionality to develop such a system. if can, please provide some tutorials or links which consists source codes for such developments. or should i go for linux?
