I am currently a Year 2 Undergraduate student in National University of Singapore pursuing my Computer Science Bachelor's Degree. I have just started contributing and submitted my first PR to GRASS GIS a few days ago. I have submitted a proposal looking to

 join GSOC this year under GRASS GIS. The proposed project focuses on introducing OpenMP support to existing raster modules, which aims to boost performance through some parallelization. Regardless I will try to see what I can contribute to the project. Thank
