You seem to be using GRASS 5.7 or 6.0beta1, is that correct?

Please try G <- gmeta(interp=TRUE), and post the result (str(G)) - this 
may be a WIND3 WINDOW not being recognised by the 5.0 version of the GRASS 
function used when run with interp=FALSE.
