i also thought that my problems occured as a result of our server being out of date, but as i got the same error with R 2.11 on my laptop i didn't really believe it. I upgraded to R 2.13.1 now and everything works just fine.<br>

Your version of R is very old, and I guess that is the problem. The<br>
actual version of R is 2.13.1 and the actual version of spgrass6 is 0.7-4.<br>

i posted this message in the GRASS user mailing list first and was<br>
asked to post again here. I'm running GRASS 6.4.0 and R 2.9.1 with<br>
the package Spgrass6. I work on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10.<br>

I also tried the same packages (with GRASS version 6.4.0+42329<br>
(2010) ) and commands on my Ubuntu 10.10. laptop and got exactly<br>
the same error message.<br>

After starting an R session in GRASS, loading Spgrass6 and running<br>
a command, i get an error somehow related to the R command<br>
“syscmd”, reporting unused arguments. The example below relates to<br>
gmeta6(), but it happens with any command from Spgrass6.<br>
