<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div>Hi <br></div><div><br></div><div>I taught a GRASS course last week and all students got the same error when trying to init GRASS from R or Rstudio (in all cases grass was installed through OSGeo4W installer). <br></div><div><br></div><div>Here´s the command we used (paths must be adapted accordingly):</div><div><br></div><div>initGRASS(gisBase = "C:/OSGeo4W64/apps/grass/grass-7.4.2RC2", <br> gisDbase = "C:/Users/RETA/Documents/grassdata", <br> location = "nc_spm_08_grass7", <br> mapset = "user1", <br> SG = "elevation")</div><div><br></div><div>The pop-up error is a missing iconv.dll. See screenshot attached. I believe all locales were in Spanish as well as the laptop I am testing now.
