[GRASS translations] first problem

It indicates that you didn't configure GRASS yet.

First run some minimalistic configuration like

./configure \
  --with-gdal=/usr/local/bin/gdal-config \
  --without-postgres \
  --without-mysql \
  --without-odbc \
  --without-motif \
  --with-glw \
  --with-nls \
  --without-fftw \
  --without-freetype 

Most important is --with-nls to acticate language support.

I guess that you want to translate to Italian?
A friend, Maurizio Napolitano here at IRST already started.
Perhaps you can contact him and help to minimize the
efforts.
