compilation errors

Wow...is this a well monitored list or what! I thought you guys up-top
would be sleeping!

Regarding my previous compilation error message....thanks to

with the correct advice:

>the error messages indicate that your grass
>  library files are out of date with regard to your system "files".  
>  Get a man on ranlib and then run it on the appropriate grass libraries
>  and I think it might correct this error.

Time elapased between when I mailed this group and the time I had corrected
the error = 12 min!!!!  Not too shabby considering the distance!

Exactly what I did was the following:

              cd /.../.../src/libes/LIB
              ranlib -t *

recompiled with no problems.  If however, someone in the know would like
to explain WHAT I did...I know I'd be interested.
