I had no trouble reading this file. Did you use the -c option to cpio?

|I have been unable to ftp and unpack xgen.example successfully from the moon.
|(I've had no trouble getting other files -- including xgen, and the complete
|set of grass source files.)

|I've got ftp set to type binary;  back home on my machine, I uncompress the
|.Z file without any apparent problem, but when I try to cpio the remaining
|file, I consistently get a message "Out of phase -- get help."
|
|Has any one else had this problem?  Has anyone else used xgen.example?
