r.in.erdas help

I did "r.in.erdas erdas=tm083090.lan prefix=tm"
and took all 7 bands. I got tm.1 ... tm.7.
I run r.support to all of them and greated a group (tm90).
I was trying to run i.composite but failed. I was told
one of files was out of range which cannot be true.

I r.compress-ed tm.3 and wanted to look at it.
What I got were a whole bunch of vertical lines.

All the info in cellhd seem correct and match
the ERDAS file header (version 7.5).

Any hint would be appreciated.

You might want to try i.in.erdas
it's in src.alpha/imagery
and works good with multi band images
