Grass4.1 Compilation

Helle there, I'm currently trying to compile Grass4.1 and have runn into various problems with redeclared of vertain parameters. In the pass I hace commented 
these , but I find with the error below I can't do this without producing 
other greater errors. Suggestions on how to get around this would be appreciated

I'm currently compiling on a DEC 3000 800.
