Converting ascii data to GRASS4.1 format - continued

	With help from several of you, I was able to convert
ascii x,y data which defined the boundary of an area to a GRASS
map using v.import.  Now the question is:  is there a way to 
read in a category number along with the x,y coordinates defining
the boundary or must one go through v.digit or manually create
a dig_att file to label the bounded areas?
