grass can't find rle programs

Bill,
First, check under $GISBASE/etc/bin/contrib/cmd to see if the executables 
actually got put there. Assuming that they did (I checked the Gmakefiles for
r.le to make sure they do that!), the only other possibility I can think of is
that you had GRASS up and running while you compiled the programs. If that is
the case, you'll need to issue a "rehash" command so that the PATH is checked
for new programs. That's all the ideas I've got!
