A quick look at the GLIS data base at the EROS data center might prove useful,
if you haven't checked there already.  They have archives of MSS and some TM
images from around the world.  What they have depends on whether anybody was
listening to the satellite when it passed over Greece and whether they kept the
images.  For example, for the island of Java in Indonesia there are about 300
images from 1973 to 1982, then they stop until the late 1990s.  I suspect that
the Indonesian govt. got a ground station and the US govt. quit collecting the
images.  You can use the web to get started -
http://sun1.cr.usgs.gov/glis/glis.html.  If they do have images they are quit
cheap; on the order of $150 per image for MSS (don't quote me on the price; its
based on an old memory).
