Status GRASS for Windows?

Recently I have been having some problems with my Linux system, so I
can't use GRASS. During one of those exasperating moments I recalled
talk of GRASS for Windows development, about a year ago; at that time
"they" were looking for beta sites. Anyone recall who was developing
it and if GRASS for Windows became a reality?
