Hi David,
  The Eros Data Center may still have discounted imagery for sale that is beyon
d
a certain # of years old (several hundred dollars?). You may want to ask them 
if they still do this. Unless you or your University acquires the imagery, it 
would pay to be careful of using someone else's imagery- using it may violate 
the terms of the original agreement. Rick
