Importing ArcInfo files

Hi Stephan,
You should use some commands from ArcInfo so that you will able to
change them to GRASS environment. Firstly,you have to tranfer all files
which are e00 format to Arcinfo format. Secondly, you should use
ungenerate command for changing all transfered data.
In each step for using ungenerate command can be provided as follows :
1)polygon files.(suppose that it's A.pat)
- ungen [LINE/POINT] [cover] [file]
* ungen LINE A test1.lin
* ungen POINT A test1.pot
* you should use Excel program for changing A.dbf to A.txt by using
save as command.
*** The result is test1.lin, test1.pot and A.txt.***
2)vector files.(suppose that it's B.aat)
- ungen [LINE/POINT] [cover] [file]
* ungen LINE A test2.lin
* To use Excel for changing like previous step
*** The result is test2.lin and B.txt.***
After you already process all data, you can use V.IN.ARC exactly.
