I recently have imported some DXF files and used the v.in.dxf command
with the sintax that is in the man pages. The only problem I had was
with a layer of text entities that the program converted in blank
rectangles on screen. What I understood was that those were the frames
of the text that would be displayed using v.cadlabel. As I've never used
it I wasn't able to understand how to display the text. Nevertheless,
the program created several vector layers corresponding to the layers
that were in the original file. The information on "Line" were
sucessfull translated.
